Prayers For Kycie

I'm sure lot's of you have heard about sweet little Kycie Terry. If not, here is a little bit of what's happened. She is a 5 year old little girl, daughter of Jamie and Joshua Terry, and a sister to 5 brothers. About a week ago she started complaining about a headache, and throughout the week she became more sick, she went to the doctor and received antibiotics to treat strep throat. She was getting worse so they took her to the ER on Friday, and that day she was life flighted to Primary Childrens. She had a blood sugar level of 1148, 100 is normal. She underwent several seizures on her way there and has been unresponsive ever since. She had some MRI's done and the results concur extensive damage to the brain, they were told that if she survives to prepare for her to be severely handicapped. They are going to do another MRI in the morning, and depending on the results they will consider taking her off the breathing machine. I am not positive if she has responded since this all happened on Friday, but regardless, this sweet girl and her family are in need of your prayers. I don't know her or her family personally, but my heart breaks for them.

Please pray for sweet Kycie, I truly believe that prayer is powerful beyond belief, and there is strength in numbers. Whether you know her and her story or not, please keep this sweet family in your thoughts. I know that my brother has made it this far because of the army he has behind him, and I know that through faith, prayer and trust in our Father's plan, that if it is meant to be for sweet Kycie to get through this, she will! If Britt can do it, so can Kycie! Pray for good results on tomorrow's MRI, and pray for this sweet family to be comforted by the love of our savior. She needs your prayers, and she needs you to believe in her, just like you have believed in my brother.

If the family ever happens to see this, I just want to tell you that we love you. We are sorry you have to go through this, and that Kycie has to take on this battle. She can do it though. Don't give up, don't lose hope, even when you think there is no light at the end, keep moving forward with strength and confidence in the lord's plan. That little girl of yours is special beyond words, she was strong enough to take this upon herself, and you all stood by her and told her you would help her through it as best as you could, no matter the outcome. Hope for good things to come, have faith in the power of the Lord, believe in miracles and blessings and watch them unfold in front of your eyes. You can do it Kycie!!!
