Sorry I've been slackin. I've been out of town the last few days so i haven't been able to write much! But Britt is still doing great! A couple of days ago, they tried to replace his trach and put in a new one that doesn't have a cuff, and I guess there were some complications, which resulted in some pretty bad pain for Britt, so he has been really sensitive and his throat has been really soar. They plan to place a smaller trach within the week, to ween him off of it completely. I can't wait to get back home tonight to see him and all the new progress he has made. As much as i hate leaving sometimes, it is so fun to come back and see the improvements. I feel like when we are in there all day every day it's hard to really notice all the change, but when you are gone for a little while it's so crazy!! I just love that boy. I've missed his cute smile.
