Day 12

Britt has been doing great today! This morning when they did their neuro check on him, they thought that he might be localizing pain. So There are several levels of responsiveness that show neurological improvement or regression; Obeying commands, localizing pain, withdrawing from pain, and posturing. So that is great news, if he really was!! His lungs look great and sound great today. All of his numbers have been right where they want them, ICP, blood pressure, heart rate, temperature. His tube feeding are going well, and the Trach has been working great! They are going to try and drain more fluid off the brain today, to see if it standardizes the blood pressure a little more, and so far it has been working!


(This is from a couple of days ago when the doctor did a neuro check. He is pushing on his chest to try and get him to react to pain.)

    I am so happy I am crying, I didnt know he could move so much....that was exciting...that seems like a bigger than baby step. GO BRITT GO
