Here is a little video recap of today (it's a fun one):
Today Britt told me he wanted a Rolo. So what do i do? I give the kid a Rolo. My mom was furious. She told me I was grounded, and Britton just laughed. But it's just a little chocolate, I mean, come on. Me and Britt were having the best time, we were both laughing so hard, I was rubbing the Rolo on his tongue, tryin to get some chocolate on there for him to taste, and he had his mouth wide open, and his tongue stuck clear out. He practically grabbed my arm and directed it to his mouth, very forcefully by the way. Then he promised me he would keep it a secret and wouldn't tell the nurses.
Britt did so good in physical therapy today. He did a lot of walking, and rolling, and sitting. He is seriously doing so well and making such great progress every day. We see more and more of his personality coming back each day too. It is the greatest thing in the world. You can't help but look at him and see the sweetest, softest, most inspiring spirit. I'm lucky I get to spend every day with that kind of person and feeling around us. It's days like these that I just cant help but smile so big. I feel so incredibly blessed, beyond measure.

ReplyDeleteI really want to thank Dr Emu for saving my marriage. My wife really treated me badly and left home for almost 3 month this got me sick and confused. Then I told my friend about how my wife has changed towards me. Then she told me to contact Dr Emu that he will help me bring back my wife and change her back to a good woman. I never believed in all this but I gave it a try. Dr Emu casted a spell of return of love on her, and my wife came back home for forgiveness and today we are happy again. ReplyDeleteHey I've been reading for blog since the beginning and I guess I just wanted to say that I kind of knew Britt. I'm a grade younger and I moved away but not too far and I just wanted to say that I kind of knew him and it might sound creepy but I had a dream about him last Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI was at Lake Powell when all the sudden I was sitting besides Britton in his hospital room, his eyes open and we just sat there talking. I forgot what we where talking about, but I remeber him smiling, having a good time as we just talked.
I don't really know why I'm telling you this and it kind of night sound creepy, haha!
Anyways another thing I wanted to tell you was that recently I've lost all hope in God and Christ but from reading your blog everyday my hope, faith has been slowly coming back. I still don't really go to church but sometimes I actually go which after I lost my faith I stopped going. Just wanted to say thanks for giving me faith in God and Christ again :)
Also glad to see Britton doing better with each passing day
night *might

ReplyDeleteI've read your blog quite a few times and never commented- your brother is blessed to have an Angel like you in this dark time. I've read a few stories from patients in Coma and you and your bright light are exactly what your brother needs!! Keep doing your thing you sweet inspiring siblings. Loving each other this much is exactly the reason we are here.
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog from the beginning and have commented a couple of times, but they never seem to take? I just wanted you to know how much we appreciate your notes as your friends and family follow you on this journey. You are so articulate and a wonderful writer and I bet you can publish this story that Britton can read one day soon. I am so happy that he is making such good progress and you and your whole family are such an inspiration. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. I do want to make you an offer of support that is a little different. I have a Certified Pet Therapy Dog named Logan. We visit the hospital on the River Road campus each Monday. We would love to come and visit Brit and/or your family whenever you are ready. Logan brings a lot of joy to the patients he visits and it is a different type of stimulation that Brit may enjoy. Please let me know if and when you are interested in such a visit and we will make it happen. Much love to you… Michelle and Logan
