Day 6

The doctors came in this morning and had a lot of positive and optimistic things to say! yay! that's the way we like it, right?

His lungs are sounding pretty dang good for the most part. He purposely moved his right arm! The doctor was so excited about that. and said it is a HUGE deal. They say all his numbers and vitals are right where they need to be, they have been really monitoring those the last few days, giving him medications and things to regulate them as much as possible. They are going to start pulling off some of the sedation, hoping that he will start waking up a little. THATS FUN!!! So hopefully little by little, my little brother will start coming back to us. They are going to keep trying to get him more nutrition wise. And also focusing on a bowel movement. It's really important for him to have one, because it affects all the numbers if he doesn't, especially his ICP. Doc said, they are definitely seeing some positives.

As soon as they left the room, me and my mom poked our heads around the machine that was in between our state of the art recliners, and gave each other a thumbs up and head nod. SWEET.

He's hanging in there, and being so strong! And starting to look a little more like the Britton we know every day!
